Born on February 5, 1919 in Greenwood, Wisconsin, Cy Buker (Cyril Owen Buker) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career. Buker broke into the bigs on May 17, 1945 with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and put up a 3.30 ERA in 87.1 innings pitched in 1945, his rookie year.
