Curtis Townsend (Curtis Townsend) was born on January 20, 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama. After going to high school at Robert E. Lee (Montgomery, AL), Townsend attended Hutchinson Community College and the University of Arkansas. Townsend made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
