Curt Walker (William Curtis Walker) was born on July 3, 1896 in Beeville, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 17, 1919 for the New York Giants. In 1921, his rookie year, he hit .301 with 3 home runs and 43 RBI. Walker played for the New York Giants, Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Curt Walker's best season was 1922, when he hit for a .337 average and knocked in 89 runs.
