Curt Roberts (Curtis Benjamin Roberts) was born on August 16, 1929 in Pineland, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 13, 1954 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1954, his rookie year, he hit .232 with 1 home run and 36 RBI. Roberts played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 3 year career.
