Curt Mecham (Curtis Mecham) was born on March 2, 1920 in Bakersfield, California. After going to high school at Bakersfield (CA), Mecham attended the University of Oregon. Mecham made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
