Curt Blefary (Curtis Leroy Blefary) was born on July 5, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1965 for the Baltimore Orioles. In 1965, his rookie year, he hit .260 with 22 home runs and 70 RBI. Blefary played for the Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics and San Diego Padres over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Curt Blefary's best season was 1967, when he slugged 22 home runs and knocked in 81 runs.
