Craig Swoope (Craig Avery Swoope) was born on February 3, 1964 in Fort Pierce, Florida. After going to high school at Westwood (Fort Piece, FL), Swoope attended the University of Illinois. Swoope made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1986 was Craig Swoope's best year.
