Craig Shipley (Craig Barry Shipley) was born on January 7, 1963 in Parramatta, Australia. He made his Major League debut on June 22, 1986 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .235 with 4 home runs and 22 RBI. Shipley played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, San Diego Padres, Houston Astros and Anaheim Angels over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Craig Shipley's best season was 1994, when he hit for a .333 average.
