Craig Hanneman (Craig Lewis Hanneman) was born on July 1, 1949 in Salem, Oregon. After going to high school at Salem (OR), Hanneman attended Oregon State University. Hanneman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1973 was Craig Hanneman's best year.
