Craig Counsell (Craig John Counsell) was born on August 21, 1970 in South Bend, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on September 17, 1995 for the Colorado Rockies. In 1997, his rookie year, he hit .299 with 1 home run and 16 RBI. Counsell played for the Colorado Rockies, Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Craig Counsell's best season was 2005, when he stole 26 bases.
