Born on July 1, 1938 in Washington, D.C., Craig Anderson (Norman Craig Anderson) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets over the course of his 4 year career. Anderson broke into the bigs on June 23, 1961 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 5.35 ERA in 131.1 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.
