Thoughts: The 'Noles prove their preseason #19 rank was extremely high. UAB gets trouced by Michigan State but hangs with Florida State? Wacky two weeks.

Thoughts: Proof you should never even consider betting on information from A) a non expert and B) the WAC.

Thoughts: Generally dis-interesting football game.
Prediction: Wisconsin 45, UNLV 12

Thoughts: Add in the line to Wisconsin and subtract a point from UNLV and I've have been set. Big spreads are what you stay away from, especially in the early season.

Additional Thoughts: Anyone with a shred of common sense would stay away from putting money on any of these games. I don't bet on them, and if you're thinking about those big spreads to get a quick buck, of the 10 highest spreads in the last two weeks to open the season, only one -- Oklahoma -- has covered. Perhaps some people might say it's a nutty start to the season, which it is, but picking these games leads to misery, because you find out that rooting for a blowout is probably sports karma biting you in the ass.
