Corrie Artman (Corwin Walter Artman) was born on January 8, 1907 in Santa Monica, California. After going to high school at Polytechnic (Long Beach, CA), Artman attended Stanford University. Artman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the New York Giants. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Braves and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career.
