Corl Zimmerman (Corl James Zimmerman) was born on February 22, 1899 in Akron, Ohio. After going to high school at Central (Akron, OH), Zimmerman attended Mount Union College. Zimmerman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Dayton Triangles. He played for the Dayton Triangles for his entire 3 year career.
