Corey Smith (Corey Dominique Smith) was born on November 2, 1979 in Richmond, Virginia. After going to high school at John Marshall (Richmond, VA), Smith attended North Carolina State University. Smith made his professional debut in the NFL in 2002 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 2006 was Corey Smith's best year.
