Cordell Taylor (Cordell Jerome Taylor) was born on December 22, 1973 in Norfolk, Virginia. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA), Taylor attended Hampton University. Taylor made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played for the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars over the course of his 2 year career.
