Corby Davis (Richard Corbett Davis) was born on December 8, 1914 in Lowell, Indiana. Davis attended Indiana University. Davis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Cleveland Rams for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1938 was Corby Davis's best year.
