Connie Berry (Connie Mack Berry) was born on April 19, 1915 in Spartanburg, North Carolina. After going to high school at Parker Prep (Greenville, NC), Berry attended North Carolina State University. Berry made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Detroit Lions. He played in the NFL for 7 years, playing for the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions over the course of his 7 year NFL career.Berry also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Rockets the entire time.
Most people believe that 1944 was Connie Berry's best year, as he caught 6 TD passes.
