Born on September 16, 1922 in San Francisco, California, Con Dempsey (Cornelius Francis Dempsey) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career. Dempsey broke into the bigs on April 28, 1951 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
