College Basketball is Almost Here!

Around the USA, college basketball teams had their first practices for the upcoming season. All I can say is, it's about time! Actually, what I want to say is...please start the season NOW!
Ok, check my user page, it says I'm a Syracuse and Penn State fan...that might just explain a few things. While the Orange football team is making progress, and the Nits are doing alright, football season has worn on me and it's time for a change of season.
I would do a preview of the NCAA, but that would take too much effort. So, I'll just do a preview of Syracuse and Penn State.
Penn State: 15-15 season and a trip to the NIT last season, a nice improvement over the past few years. The team only loses one player from last season, and has a soft non-conference schedule. I see a 7-9 Big Ten record and a 17 win season in store. Again, a step in the right direction for this team.
Syracuse: Amazingly won the Big East Tournament last season. Just one problem: Gerry McNamara has graduated. However, like most Jim Boeheim coached teams, they will still find a way to be competitive in the Big East. I see a 10-6 Big East record and a 20+ win season for the Orange.
