Cody McKay
[edit] Biography
Cody McKay (Cody Dean McKay) was born on January 11, 1974 in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada). He made his Major League debut on September 22, 2002 for the Oakland Athletics. McKay played for the Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.
McKay was also one of the players named in baseball's Mitchell Report. He allegedly bought steroids from former Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski. According to Radomski, he could not remember who referred McKay to him, but he did remember several phone conversations between himself and McKay in approximately 2002. Radomski remembers two different sales of performance-enhancing drugs to McKay, one in 2002 and the other in 2003, and McKay's name, phone number and address were all in Radomski's address book.
Like most players, McKay declined to speak with investigators for the Mitchell Report.
