Coco Laboy (Jose Alberto Laboy) was born on July 3, 1940 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on April 8, 1969 for the Montreal Expos. In 1969, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 18 home runs and 83 RBI. Laboy played for the Montreal Expos for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that Coco Laboy's best season was 1969, when he slugged 18 home runs and knocked in 83 runs.
