Where did coach Rod learn to be a great coach? He is humble, hard working, and focused on "one snap at a time." The players and coaches respect his leadership. His first year was 3-13 with Detroit. His second year with the Lions starts with a record of 6-2.
Coach Rod played for the national championship college team at California Lutheran University in the early 1970's. The Dallas Cowboys trained at Cal Lutheran in those days. Cal Lutheran is known for 'educating leaders for a global society" and could it be that he also learned from Tom Landry?
