Born on February 20, 1941 in Jefferson City, Tennessee, Clyde Wright (Clyde Wright) played for the California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers and Texas Rangers over the course of his 10 year career. Wright broke into the bigs on June 15, 1966 with the California Angels, and put up a 3.74 ERA in 91.1 innings pitched in 1966, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Clyde Wright's best season was 1970, when he posted a 2.83 ERA, won 22 games and struck out 110 batters.
