Clyde Van Sickle (Clyde Huntus Van Sickle) was born on May 26, 1907 in Pryor, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Morris (OK) and Okmulgee (OK), Van Sickle attended the University of Arkansas. Van Sickle made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Frankford Yellow Jackets over the course of his 3 year career.
