Clyde Goodnight (Clyde Davis Goodnight) was born on March 3, 1924 in Holland, Texas. Goodnight attended the University of Tulsa. Goodnight made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Clyde Goodnight's best year, as he hauled in 38 receptions, had 593 receiving yards and caught 6 TD passes.
