Clyde Crabtree (Clyde Crabtree) was born on November 3, 1905 in Altoona, Iowa. After going to high school at J. Sterling Morton (Cicero, IL), Crabtree attended Northwestern University and the University of Florida. Crabtree made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Minneapolis Red Jackets. He played for the Minneapolis Red Jackets for his entire 1 year career.
