Clovis Swinney (Clovis G. Swinney) was born on August 17, 1945 in Mexico, Missouri. After going to high school at Jonesboro (AR), Swinney attended Arkansas State University and the University of Arkansas. Swinney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1970 was Clovis Swinney's best year.
