Clinton Portis (Clinton Earl Portis) was born on September 1, 1981 in Laurel, Mississippi. After going to high school at Gainesville (FL), Portis attended the University of Miami. Portis made his professional debut in the NFL in 2002 with the Denver Broncos. He has played for the Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 2002 was Clinton Portis's best year, as he ran for 1508 yards, ran in 15 TDs and ran for an average of 5.5 yards per carry.
