Born on July 8, 1903 in Blackash, Pennsylvania, Clint Brown (Clinton Harold Brown) played for the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 15 year career. Brown broke into the bigs on September 27, 1928 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 4.97 ERA in 213.2 innings pitched in 1930, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Clint Brown's best season was 1939, when he posted a 3.88 ERA, won 11 games and notched 18 saves.
