Cliff Crosby (Clifton Crosby) was born on September 17, 1974 in Erie, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at East (Erie, PA), Crosby attended the University of Maryland. Crosby made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the St. Louis Rams. He played for the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 2002 was Cliff Crosby's best year, as he recovered 4 opponents fumbles.
