Cliff Branch (Clifford Branch) was born on August 1, 1948 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at E.E. Worthing (Houston, TX), Branch attended the University of Colorado and Wharton Country Junior College. Branch made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Raiders over the course of his 14 year career.
Most people believe that 1974 was Cliff Branch's best year, as he hauled in 60 receptions, had 1092 receiving yards and caught 13 TD passes.
