Cliff Bolton

Cliff Bolton (William Clifton Bolton) was born on April 10, 1907 in High Point, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1931 for the Washington Senators. In 1934, his rookie year, he hit .270 with 1 home run and 17 RBI. Bolton played for the Washington Senators and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Cliff Bolton's best season was 1935, when he hit for a .304 average and knocked in 55 runs.
