Cliff Benson (Clifford Anthony Benson) was born on August 28, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Alan B. Shpeherd (Palos Heights, IL), Benson attended Purdue University. Benson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints and Washington Redskins over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1984 was Cliff Benson's best year.
