Cliff Aberson (Clifford Alexander Aberson) was born on August 28, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on July 18, 1947 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1947, his rookie year, he hit .279 with 4 home runs and 20 RBI. Aberson played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 3 year career.
