Clement to DL, Kapler activated

The Boston Red Sox announced yesterday that utility outfielder and fan favorite Gabe Kapler had been activated after completing his rehab from the ruptured left Achilles tendon injury he sustained in Toronto last year.
Meanwhile, struggling pitcher Matt Clement was added to the 15-day-DL, making him the second Boston starting pitcher to join that list after David Wells. Clement was listed as having a shoulder strain.
The club also claimed RHP Kyle Snyder on waivers from the Kansas City Royals and added him to the fourty-man roster.LHP Mike Holtz and outfielder Dustan Mohr were both designated for assignment to make room on the 40 man roster. The Red Sox have 10 days to trade, release, or send them to the minors.
