Clay Tonnemaker (Frank Clayton Tonnemaer) was born on June 8, 1928 in Oglivie, Minnesota. After going to high school at Edison (Minneapolis, MN), Tonnemaker attended the University of Minnesota. Tonnemaker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1950 was Clay Tonnemaker's best year.
