Claude Thornhill (Claude Earl Thornhill) was born on April 14, 1893 in Richmond, Virginia. After going to high school at Beaver (PA), Thornhill attended the University of Pittsburgh. Thornhill made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Cleveland Tigers. He played for the Cleveland Tigers for his entire 1 year career.
