Class-AA
Class-AA or "Double-A" baseball is the mid and fast-track tier of the major league farm system. Players here are developing to move up to the major leagues. Most need more time, and advance to the Triple-A, while others that are burning up the fast track, particularly pitchers, will make the jump to the big leagues from here.
[edit] Orgnization
There are three Class-AA leagues:
- Eastern League - The Eastern League is one of the oldest leagues in the sport, outdating even the modern National and American Leagues.
- Southern League
