Clarence Spiegel (Clarence Adolph Spiegel) was born on July 12, 1898 in Evansville, Indiana. After going to high school at Central (Evansville, IN), Spiegel attended Campion College. Spiegel made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Evansville Crimson Giants. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Evansville Crimson Giants the entire time. Spiegel also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Evansville Crimson Giants the entire time.
