Born on March 28, 1911 in Gretna, Virginia, Clarence Pickrel (Clarence Douglas Pickrel) played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Braves over the course of his 2 year career. Pickrel broke into the bigs on April 22, 1933 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
