Clarence Janecek (Clarence Robert Janecek, Sr.) was born on April 1, 1911 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Harrison Tech (Chicago, IL), Janecek attended Purdue University. Janecek made his professional debut in the NFL in 1933 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
