Clarence Esser (Clarence Joseph Esser) was born on May 13, 1925 in Madison, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Central (Madison, WI), Esser attended the University of Wisconsin. Esser made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
