Clancy Osborne (Clarence Osborne) was born on November 23, 1934 in Lubbock, Texas. After going to high school at Palo Verde (Blythe, CA), Osborne attended Arizona State University. Osborne made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 4 year NFL career.Osborne also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time.
Most people believe that 1961 was Clancy Osborne's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
