Clancy Oliver (Clarence Oliver) was born on November 17, 1947 in Bakersfield, California. After going to high school at Laguna Beach (CA), Oliver attended Orange Coast College and San Diego State University. Oliver made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Clancy Oliver's best year.
