Chuck Stevens (Charles Augustus Stevens) was born on July 20, 1918 in Van Houten, New Mexico. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1941 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1946, his rookie year, he hit .248 with 3 home runs and 27 RBI. Stevens played for the St. Louis Browns for his entire 3 year career.
