Born on October 21, 1969 in Memphis, Tennessee, Chuck Smith (Charles Edward Smith) played for the Florida Marlins for his entire 2 year career. Smith broke into the bigs on June 13, 2000 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 3.23 ERA in 122.2 innings pitched in 2000, his rookie year.
