Chuck Shonta

Chuck Shonta (Charles Joseph Shonta) was born on August 29, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Pershing (Detroit, MI), Shonta attended Eastern Michigan University. Shonta made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Chuck Shonta's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
