Chuck Seelbach

Born on March 20, 1948 in Lakewood, Ohio, Chuck Seelbach (Charles Frederick Seelbach) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 4 year career. Seelbach broke into the bigs on June 29, 1971 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 2.89 ERA in 112 innings pitched in 1972, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Chuck Seelbach's best season was 1972, when he posted a 2.89 ERA, notched 14 saves and struck out 76 batters.
