Chuck Schilling (Charles Thomas Schilling) was born on October 25, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1961 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1961, his rookie year, he hit .259 with 5 home runs and 62 RBI. Schilling played for the Boston Red Sox for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that Chuck Schilling's best season was 1961, when he knocked in 62 runs.
